Christmas Day

Christmas carols fill the air, 
Snow is falling everywhere
Sparkling lights will gleam at night, 
Such a very pretty sight
Christmas wreaths on every door,
Christmas trees and so much more
Trays of cookies, gingerbread,
Children rushing to their beds
Next is Christmas morning— Yay!
There’s a lot to do today
Op’ning presents, countless gifts,
Playing in the deep snow drifts

Throw a snowball, start a fight,
Warming up will last all night!
Children love a snowy day,
Bursting out of doors to play
‘Jingle bells’, ‘Joy to the world,
Christmas carols you have heard
Children’s voices singing loud,
You can hear them all around

People knock on every door,
Singing Christmas songs galore
Now the parties will begin,
People go to visit kin
To the next place we will run, 
Christmas day is so much fun!
